“This year's cabernet is fantastic! We opened the cabernet first and had six different cheeses to pair it with. The best was a sharp cheddar from just across the border in Wisconsin. Like last year's vintage, the nose on this bottle is big and hints that the taste will have great balance. It doesn't dissapoint. It drinks so well right now but still has the tannins to suggest a great wine to keep for a while.
We had the sangiovese with a simple pasta dish. It's so wonderful when a wine possesses such a solid depth of flavors while keeping a lighter body. We loved the cherries.”
