Welcome to Chanticleer, home of Morningside Vineyard in the Yountville Appellation of the Napa Valley. Chanticleer, a boutique winery, produces two premium wines incorporating the Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese grapes grown in the 8 acre vineyard.
Proprietors Caddy and George (Vineyardist) Grodahl and Chris Dearden, winemaker and owner of Dearden Wines, began their partnership in 2000 creating small production, award-winning wines. Because case production is small and the wine is always in high demand, each vintage sells out quickly. Chanticleer wines are truly in a distinguished category all their own.
